Riley Schroeder: Davenport University - Cross and Track

Riley is heading to Davenport University to major in nursing while running track and XC for the Panthers. Riley’s list of athletic accomplishments are many here at Clare--including being one of just 16 Class B girls being named a MHSAA scholar-athlete finalist along with Bailey Taylor. Riley has been on the varsity cross country and track and field teams all four years at Clare.

Bailey Taylor:  Adrian College - Basketball

Bailey is heading to Adrian College to play basketball for the Bulldogs. Bailey’s list of athletic accomplishments are many here at Clare--including being one of just 16 Class B girls being named a MHSAA scholar-athlete finalist for 2021 along with Riley Schroeder. Bailey played Varsity volleyball, basketball and soccer at Clare.

"Marian is a small college, roughly 1,400 students, and I was told on my tour that all of my professors would know me on a first name basis by the first month of my freshman year. That feeling was what I was looking for in a college--I didn't want to be just a number. The coach also reminds me of both Coach Dingo and my father, and that was a great thing to see in my future coach."
