 FAFSA Information:

If your son/daughter is planning to attend college for the fall 2017 semester, you can apply for financial aid for the 2017-2018 academic year today by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

It is recommended that you file your FAFSA no later than January 1, 2017.  To qualify as an on-time filer by the state of Michigan, your application must be received by March 1, 2017.

Students, and parents of dependent students, need an FSA ID to apply online.  The FSA ID serves as your legal signature when you apply online.  If you and your child have a federal FSA ID you used previously, you can continue to use it for the 2017-18 FAFSA.  If you and/or your child do not have an FSA ID, you can request one online at
